Dave Grohl is a man of many musical talents, and he proves it in his upcoming mini-documentary “Play” by creating a massive 23-minute song as a one-man band.
The two-part doc, penned and filmed by Grohl, explores “the rewards and challenges of dedicating one’s life to playing and mastering a musical instrument.” Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at what went into the doc’s showcase 23-minute performance by Grohl, who rocks seven different instruments for the song. Grohl is also offering an interactive experience, letting viewers download sheet music as well as hear individual instruments for the whole performance.
“Play” is due for release on streaming services on August 10th. A limited edition vinyl version will be released on September 28th, available to pre-order now.
