Eddie Vedder Covers Warren Zevon Track For David Letterman Tribute

David Letterman was honored over the weekend with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and helping celebrate Letterman at the Kennedy Center was his good friend, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder.

Vedder, accompanied by Dave’s “The Tonight Show” bandleader Paul Schaffer, performed a cover of the tune “Keep Me In You Heart,” by the late Warren Zevon, who was Letterman's good friend. Vedder’s participation in the Letterman tribute comes just six months after Dave helped induct Pearl Jam in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Mark Twain Prize is set to air on PBS November 20th
